Our policy is derived from an initial policy created by the US government in its earliest days. It reads as follows:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all humans are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
Kablooe therefore sees all humans as equals, and while noting that humans have many visible and internal differences, this equality means that every human should, and will be, treated the same at Kablooe.
We therefore put the focus only on each person's professional qualities when hiring.
Regarding the manner in which Kablooe team members engage with each other in the workplace, we also defer to a very early document written to govern in these situations that sums up our policy in this area. The English translation of this global guidance, originally written in the Aramaic language, states, "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you".
The indication that these truths are "self-evident" is significant. First, it means that they are truths. Truths, by nature, cannot be changed. This indicates that this will be a good policy into perpetuity. Secondly, it means that the policy is applicable to the broadest demographic possible, namely, all humans. This is because we hold them to be self-evident. In other words, these truths can be discerned as existing and truthful by each person within themselves.
Kablooe's policy therefore circles upon the word "equality" and no other words, terms, or descriptors. Our aim is to eliminate any confusion that could otherwise be brought in by using other words that have different intended meanings. Our goal is to keep it simple and use only principles that have been tried and true throughout the test of time, and have served us well throughout the course of Kablooe's history, as well as the broad spectrum of humanity.
